Lesson 2: Roots and Powers
In this lesson, we will learn how to talk about powers (степени) and roots (корни).
Pay special attention to ordinal numbers like second, third, sixteenth etc. and make sure that you can easily say any ordinal number (spoiler: we will use them a lot in Lesson 3 as well).
First of all, take a look at the key vocabulary:

в квадрате – squared
в кубе – cubed
корень – root
квадратный корень – square root
кубический корень – cube root
корень n-й степени из числа x – nth root of x
